happy (almost) valentine's day! february is the best month to treat yourself to endless chocolate & heart-shaped treats. with food boards being a continuous trend throughout the last couple years (i'm looking at you 2022 viral butter board), i wanted to put together the ultimate valentine's dessert board. the perfect festive & colorful ending to a date night at home with your significant other!
this board features all my favourite heart-shaped candy & heart-shaped chocolate. milk chocolate caramels are life & everyone who knows me well knows they are the key to my heart. ghirardelli's caramel duet hearts makes valentine's day a bite better! they come in the prettiest heart-shaped box filled with a mix of milk chocolate & dark chocolate caramel hearts.
although this recipe is more of a no-recipe recipe because you can simply use your favourite valentine's candy, cookies & fruit.. i'm including my must have list below for the ultimate dessert board! enjoy xo
ingredients
- 1 cup heart-shaped jelly beans
- 1 cup heart-shaped jube jubes
- 1 cup heart-shaped sour gummies
- 1/2 cup heart-shaped marshmallows
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 6 strawberry & vanilla wafer cookies
- chocolate dipped biscuits or pretzels sticks
- 1 box ghirardelli's caramel duet hearts
directions
- place jelly beans in a small serving bowl & arrange remaining ingredients on a large wood or marble serving board, ensuring no spaces remain. serve alongside coffee, tea or espresso!
